Nusuk Umrah Permit Guide
Umrah permits through Nusuk apply to residents and to certain visitor categories at certain times, especially Ramadan when the Haram operates on scheduled slots. Whether you need one depends on your status and the date. This guide explains who needs a permit, how to book, and the errors that pilgrims report most.
Who needs an Umrah permit
Residents of Saudi Arabia book Umrah permits through Nusuk. Visitors on Umrah visas are generally covered by their visa, but during Ramadan and other peak periods scheduling through Nusuk may be required for everyone. Check the app's current rules for your dates.
How to book
- Open Nusuk, choose Umrah permit, and select yourself and companions.
- Pick a date and an available time slot.
- Confirm and save the permit with its QR code offline.
Ramadan timing
Slots are limited and released on a schedule. Book as early as the app allows for your dates, and be flexible on time of day. One Umrah per person per Ramadan may be enforced.
Errors that stop a permit
- Companion details not matching passport or Iqama.
- Visa not yet synced to the profile.
- Requesting a slot outside your visa validity.
- Trying to book more permits than permitted for the period.
