About Umrah.to
Umrah.to is an independent guide and toolset for Umrah, built by Muslims for pilgrims. Our aim is simple: make planning Umrah clearer, cheaper and safer, especially for families planning from abroad.
What we are
A free source of guidance, calculators and checklists, an offline companion for the days of the journey, country and nationality pages that combine verified visa, health, quota and flight data, and a way to find and compare independent travel operators. The same content is published in nine languages.
What we are not
We are not a travel agency, we do not sell travel, and we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, or the Nusuk platform. Nusuk (nusuk.sa) is the official government platform for permits, visas and bookings. We are not a religious authority: where rulings differ between schools we say so and ask you to follow a qualified scholar and your group's guide.
Editorial standards
- Verified or omitted. Visa rules, fees, dates, quotas and health requirements are checked against an official or reputable source before publication, and the sources are listed on the page. If we cannot verify something we leave it out or say it is unverified.
- Dated. Pages that depend on changing rules carry the date they were last checked.
- No invented numbers. Prices are shown as ranges and cost drivers, never as quotes. The impact page counts only what the build can count.
- No invented reviews or badges. Operator listings show exactly which checks passed and when.
- Corrections. Every guide has a correction link. We fix errors in the page and note the change.
How the site is funded
Today, nothing on the site is paid for by anyone. Pilgrim quote requests are passed to independent operators at no charge, and operator listings are free while the directory is built. If we later introduce paid options, they will be limited to optional premium placement or extra profile features for verified operators, they will be labelled, and they will never change what we verify or the order of verified listings. Nothing we publish is sponsored by an operator or a government.
Who builds it
Umrah.to is a product of Four Cents, a software studio led by a Muslim founder, with contributions from native-language reviewers for the translated guides. Religious wording is reviewed for accuracy but the site does not issue rulings.
